Sr. Product Manager, AWS Server Supply Chain

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. Key job responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Printed Circuit Board (PCB) supply chain strategies for AWS hardware infrastructure.
  • Understand PCB industry and technology trends.
  • Identify key technology trends in the PCB industry and drive supplier product roadmaps and execute on strategic initiatives in those products.
  • Negotiate and implement complex supplier agreements and contracts by working with crossfunctional stakeholders.
  • Develop negotiations strategies to deliver against business objectives and achieve sustainable relationship with suppliers.
  • Responsible to provide weekly team updates, deliver executive level updates on a monthly basis, and will be responsible for vendor escalations in order to resolve any issues related to his/her category.
  • Present to senior leadership via written narratives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
  • 5+ years of professional or military experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years working with the electronics industry in supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or engineering fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
  • 5+ years of responding to requests for proposals (e.g., determining requirements, matching requirements to technical approach and solutions, developing solutions against requirements) experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Semiconductor and/or PC Industry development and/or manufacturing
