Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician with proven experience in commercial real estate property maintenance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in multiple trades, including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting, and a track record of successfully maintaining and servicing multi-tenant office, retail, or industrial buildings. Candidates must demonstrate stable employment history and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and emergency maintenance tasks across multiple commercial properties.
- Troubleshoot and repair systems including light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and general building infrastructure.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
- Complete drywall repairs, patching, painting, door hardware repairs, and basic locksmith tasks.
- Respond to tenant service requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Coordinate with property managers and external vendors when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
- Maintain tools, supplies, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications - Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on maintenance experience in commercial real estate (office buildings, retail centers, industrial parks, etc.).
- Strong skills in light electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, drywall, and painting.
- Ability to read and interpret building plans, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with a proactive approach to building maintenance.
- Professional communication and customer service skills.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass background and drug screening.
- Technical certifications in HVAC, electrical, or plumbing.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- OSHA safety training or certification.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30AM-4PM
