We provide fully integrated care for all our patients by combining behavioral health care services with our community-based primary care health centers. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and provide preventative dental care, including cleanings, sealants, fluoride treatments, and X-rays. Educate patients of all ages on oral hygiene and the importance of dental care. Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and support the dentist during procedures. Collaborate with medical and behavioral health providers to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. Document visits in our electronic medical record system. Support a warm, welcoming environment for patients — many of whom are underserved and in need of accessible, high-quality care. Qualifications Associate’s degree in dental hygiene and Illinois RDH license (Required) Certification in local anesthesia (Required) Nitrous oxide and sealant application certifications (Preferred) Basic computer skills and experience with electronic medical records (Required) Previous experience in general dentistry and working with patients across the lifespan (Preferred) Excellent communication, teamwork, and customer service skills Are you intrigued by this job but don’t meet every single requirement? The anticipated starting pay for new hires for this position is between $31.00 - $37.00 an hour.
