Sr Strategic Supply Chain Manager Amazon Vendor Services (Consumables)
As an AVS Senior Strategic Supply Chain Manager, you will lead highimpact projects and collaborate crossfunctionally to drive business growth and deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will continuously optimize operational metrics with toptier selling partners and internal teams, serving as a key point of contact between Retail, Supply Chain, and Vendors. Your goal is to reduce cost, waste, and improve the vendorlevel operational strategy through annual negotiations and opportunities for cost savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and deliver improvement opportunities around demand and production planning.
- Monitor, analyze, and own Vendor Key Performance Indicators such as Out of Stock rate, Total Inbound lead time, confirmation rates, presenting insights, themes and trends to Senior Leadership.
- Strategically analyze production and delivery leadtimes and optimize operational excellence inputs such as EDI adoption, PO confirmations, efficient receive processes, and inventory placement.
- Spearhead initiatives to enhance cost structure and profitability, collaborating closely with partner teams to ensure successful execution.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of statistics or other analytical techniques.
- 6+ years of experience in retail supply chain, vendor management, strategy consulting, or related fields.
- 6+ years of proven track record managing complex supplychain projects, preferably in a largescale retail or ecommerce environment.
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to set strategy and manage multiple projects in a fastpaced environment (prioritization, planning, task delegation).
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with ability to translate data insights into actionable supplychain strategies. Microsoft Excel and SQL preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strategic relationships with vendors and partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SQL.
- MBA / Masters Degree.
- Creative problemsolving by adapting frameworks or existing best practices.
- 3+ years of negotiations experience.
