NETWORK ENGINEER LEVEL 3
Location: Sartell, MN (Hybrid)
Salary: $100,000$120,000
About the Role
We are adding a Level 3 Network Engineer to lead high-impact infrastructure projects, architect network solutions, and serve as a top-tier escalation resource. This role combines strategic design work with hands-on implementation across a mix of onsite and remote client environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, implement, and support advanced network solutions across firewalls, switching, routing, wireless, and VoIP technologies.
- Serve as the highest-level networking escalation for complex issues across client environments.
- Lead major upcoming network projectsupgrades, redesigns, migrations, wireless overhauls, and VoIP expansions.
- Conduct network assessments and design secure, scalable solutions tailored to client needs.
- Manage integrations, security hardening, redundancy planning, and performance optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with leadership on best practices and technology strategy.
- Balance onsite field work with remote engineering based on project demands.
Required Skills & Experience
- 510+ years of advanced network engineering experience, ideally in an MSP or consulting environment.
- Expert-level experience with:
- Firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Cisco, etc.)
- Advanced switching & routing (Layer 3, STP, OSPF/BGP familiarity, VLAN design)
- Wireless design & deployment
- VoIP systems and network-level QoS
- Strong experience designing and implementing complex network topologies.
- Ability to manage enterprise-level or multi-site projects end-to-end.
- Excellent client-facing communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent advanced certifications.
- Experience with server/VM environments or hybrid roles (valued given prior strong candidates with blended experience).
- Proven success in managing high-impact, multi-technology network projects.
